The  #SSCBoardResults (2018) just came in and we are so happy to let you know that our first batch of students form #JuhuGandhigramSchool to ever appear for the #Exams have performed exceptionally well. Thirty Eight of our students appeared for the State-Wide #Examination and the school has garnered a passing rate of over 94% in its first attempt! Akash Prasad is at the top of the pyramid, holding this torch of success for #NSWA as a whole with an amazing  88% percentage! The light in this torch is only going to grow brighter and brighter ever passing year!

This #success is a result of our amazing students and a lot of people working towards this cause all together, throughout the year!

A big shout out to the #BMC, #TeachForIndia, School teachers, #sponsors, mentors and all the #volunteers that have been part of this cause, this journey!

Our students learn the digital way to present!

PRESENTING THE FUTURE!

It has been almost a month since roughly a batch of 25 students from our school were signed up for the MS Powerpoint course at the Shriram Mantri Vidyanidhi Info Tech Academy. SM VITA is the IT branch of the Upanagar Shikshan Mandal, situated in JVPD. With the help and guidance of the amazing teachers at SM VITA, our students have inculcated in themselves a huge amount of self-confidence and the teachers have helped in garnering a sense of systemic approach and attitude towards the way they learn. Most importantly the way they think!

The students have been learning Microsoft PowerPoint and within a span of 20 days, they're able to make a presentation of more than 50 slides! Something even most adults find difficult to do. They have worked on topics from different subjects like History, Geography, Biology and Mathematics. When I visited, a group of students were presenting seamlessly on Cell Structure! The presentation alone had a hefty amount of slides with striking images supporting the topic. Along with this, they have learned the basic use of internet and it is safe to say that, these young minds have tapped into the "Information Super Highway!"

These past weeks have shaped these young minds in such a way that they'll always benefit from the things that they have learned! One more amazing aspect of this initiative is that this has helped in widening their perspective and gives them a whole new experience!

With PPT Skills, a new attitude towards learning, a brand new perspective, Confidence and the basic idea of technology is sure to take these young curious minds to great heights.

After they master MS-PowerPoint, the teachers have planned to start providing them with a whole new view to the IT World which includes the Block Programming software "Scratch", MS-Word, and Basic programming among others!

Who knows we might have the next Bill Gates or Mark Zuckerberg sitting just among us!

A new beginning

LAST DAY FOR THE FIRST BATCH

Our first batch of standard 10th students had a great day on their last day of school. Games were played, songs were and danced upon and the promise to always move forward and do something towards the society was made.

A day filled with moments and memories to be cherished for years to come!
